Default Glow plug pictures

started running nitro this year watched lots of videos on tuning and breaking in but donít know much about reading glow plus hereís a pic of my glow plug and button after 1gallon of Byron 30/11 engine is a O.S. b2101

Easy (there are topics and articles to find on this forum and on the net)

A good wire is shiny-silver colored.(may have a black first winding)
a bad wire is dark gray, or black
Too lean will cause a dark gray wire
Too rich a black wire
Rust on the bearing crankshaft will stick on the wire giving a brown wire.
Too high compression can misform the coil, like it is pused inwards
Larger brass or aluminium like particles on the wire are broken pieces of piston or conrod.

Also if you find the coils are getting completely removed from the plugs and it's not the tune, it's likely a bad connecting rod.
