Default Novarossi Mito engine question

I have a new engine for my offroad buggy, and since I've never used Novarossi before, I have a question?
The engine came with 2 small tension springs which, I believe, are used to keep the throttle closed. However, unlike other engines the spring is short and I have no idea how to use it; attached the exploded view of the carburator. The spring p/n is 60007
Any guidance will be appreciated.
Thanks.

Those are exhaust springs.. To hold the manifold to the engine.

Thanks; however the manifold came with it's own long spring. So I have 2 short spares now. But no spring for the throttle

It is wise to mount both. All manifolds have the option to mount 2 springs, it is extra safe in case one spring snaps off.

The short springs are hold by 2 small "ears" on the crankcase

I use both the short springs and the long one. Extra security like someone above said
