Default Homemade oil break-in system

This is my home made hot oil break-in system. I planned for months took me almost 3 months to get everything and get it build.
this is my first engine so I am testing and hoping for the best. Still many things to improve but at the moment working properly.

Nice but a difficult build with a horizontal position.

My latest build: Project: Break in Dutch machine

The vertical position and the use of a simple geared motor makes it much simple and cheaper.

I was initially thinking on the vertical position because I was concern the oil leaking on the shaft from the motor to the engine, but at the end I had some small parts turned in a lathe and it worked perfect. To reduce costs I used stainless steel (2mm thick) and also used basic screws and pipe fittings from my local hardware store to make sure everything aligns properly.

I would say that between electronics, material and costume made parts I spent around 450 to 550 USD, this is taken into considerations that I am not located in the USA, so everything had to be bought online and I had to spend a lot of money getting things from USA and China to Costa Rica.

I am planning to do some improvements in the future, but at the moment the machine is working properly.
