Thanks for the fun race everyone.
Big props for the guys that put work into the race program. It's not easy, not always fun, but it pays off. Lets work on training and adding RD's to the race program too - there's enough of experienced race announcers to help, but it would be great to get new and interested racers to start out.

Based on what was said on Saturday it will be WGTR and F1, no awards. No idea if there will be any different sub classes for F1. At some point during Saturday Jim walked around an asked some folks if they would be attending to make sure there were enough folks, so it sounds like it's still going to happen.

I think there was talk of longer mains as well.
We ended up with a big turnout of WGT-R cars Saturday. Full grid of 8 cars. It was a little nuts. So much fun. Had a pretty good race w/ Colin...until I threw it away w/ 3 to go.
Hopefully my diff parts for the F1 make it here in time for the race. Got a wobbling RR that I thinking is causing a directional change whenever I go past 3/4 throttle. Couldn't hardly stay out of the pipes down the back straight. It was a bit frustrating to say the least. And I need to get the body painted!

F1 Race for Sunday Jan 19th Postponed
Attentions Racers... the F1 Championship race for this coming Sunday is going to need to be rescheduled for the end of the season. Several reasons for having to make this decision. Very sorry for the short notice and the inconvenience for those planning to attend.
We will still shoot for our OnRoad club race this Saturday (01/18) provided weather permits us to do so. Please stay tuned. I will do my best to provide updates.

Racing is a "GO" for this weekend
Looks like we are thawing out at the Fairgrounds. We will have Club Racing Friday night for Oval and Saturday for OnRoad as scheduled.
Please be mindful we are a little muddy around our building so place do your best to wipe the feet and wear non aggressive shoes if possible.

Found an old 2014 skagit river thread as well but not gonna bump it. lol.
Looking fwd to some winter racing! Gonna have to dice it between oval and carpet touring. I wanna try it all, just not enough time and money. lol
