Your Probably Right. But getting beat really wouldn't bother me. I just dont want to show up and be the only one running mod and not be able to race because there is no class.

Thanks

Mod TC isn't really a class on a club level. At the big races its big. We mostly run 17.5 or 13.5 on club nights. 17.5 has been the biggest and most competitive class so far.

Default Mod.

Thanks.

I see on the schedule that mod class is listed for the Saturday races. Do they usually have a turn out for mod on saturday events?

Sometimes. You will see more mod racing at the NWIC events. There maybe some 13.5 at the Sat races.

Thanks again.

One more quick question. Do ever see 13.5 rubber on Tuesdays?

I am sure if you could get enough people to start a class it could happen. 17.5 is plenty motor for that track.

Smile Thanks

I ran practice a few times with a 5.5 mod and it was challenging, but fun. Since 17.5 TC is so popular at rcplus I think I will pick up a 17.5 soon and race that class. Thanks for answering my questions.

Im buying a 17.5 just so I can run with the most people. I already have a 13.5, but I figure why not race with everybody.

Now I am not positive but I do believe that there are a couple of guys coming down from the Seattle area on the 24th, normally they want to run mod but I have not heard.

Thanks,

I think I'm going to try a 17.5. So know I just need to figure out the right gearing.

I know guys that are geared from the 4.0 to the 6.0 range just depends on your speedo.

It had its ups and downs haha. Turns out we got a nice car w/ electronics that was not properly built. Joey is going to go threw it and get it setup like his. When I drove joey's at timezone it was the coolest thing ever. But NOW I do realize how touchy they are. It will be good for me though to learn about roll-out and drop, etc. Man, offroad is so much easy set up wise! I usually make sure toe in toe out as well as camber is correct and go! its going to be a learning experiance. I am coming out saturday most likely, so pretty soon we should have a good WGT. Cant wait for TZII. I am a much cleaner driver there, and I think once the car is good to go, I will do alright

Thanks for all the help and support everyone who help me out. I feel really guilty when people are always fixing my stuff, but i will learn. I think there was to much stuff we did not know about that needed to be changed, in so little time. Like I said, once we get it going I am sure I can re adjust thing and make small changes. I had fun, even though I could hardly drive the car becuase the rear end would kick out. Its going to be fun though!

hey Andy the car is about 95% done... im going to turn down the rubber now so it sits at the correct height. the only thing i can think that you will need is a 42p, longer turnbuckles, set of rear springs, and molded ride height spacers (hopefully that guy sends what came in the kit).

other than that i went through everything and its set up pretty close to mine. see you thursday
