Hey Everyone,

Blaine put together this fancy leader plate graphics for us. We'll have a red metal license plate to hand out to the leader after the first two rounds on Monday July 25th.

Hope to see you tomorrow for some practice rounds.

Roundtable pizza, Barbur.

Ty

I once heard about 40-50 people a day move to Portland. Hopefully one of those people is crazy enough to throw their hat in the [track owner]ring.

In the meantime...
If a NoPo location for mini-z is desired, my bike shop could host. It's probably similar size to your old photo studio Kevin.

Let me know. -Tommy

Casey wants to have a track here, the problem is the rents are too high. With legal weed now, the big spaces are being taken up and over paying.

Kevin / Mo, do you guys want to go check out Tommy's place, or i can. I know the pizza place is working out for us for smaller groups (up to 8 +-). And with the points series we aren't running bigger tracks too often so it's been good. Let me know. We could use it as another alternate. Roundtable isn't available all our Mondays.

We are set to go for Monday to start the fall series. HFAY Points Leader plate is ready for the taking. Who’s will it be?

We will start as close to 6pm as possible. Come early as possible to help set up.

We will be running one 8 minute warm up and then 8 minute main, forward, then both for reverse course. so we need to get going early to get all the racing in by 9:30.

We’ll also fill in with time trials as time allows. (good idea Brian ).

Great time racing HFAY series Monday night. WOW, 8 minutes is a killer. But we all did awesome and had incredible passing action and clean racing.

We did a warm up and race, 8 minutes each, both clockwise, then warm up and race, 8 minutes counterclockwise. Not putting times up for warm ups. Here are race times:

Clockwise 8 minutes:
1st, Ty, 89 laps, 8:01
2nd, Bob, 89 laps, 8:03
3rd, Blaine, 84 laps, 8:02
4th, Ken, 57 laps, 8----

Counterclockwise 8 minutes:
1st, Bob, 87 laps, 8:02
2nd, Ty, 82 laps, 8:01
3rd, Blaine, 76 laps, 8:---
4th, Ken, (need to get from Blaine)

Points after race #1:
Bob 199 points (race #1 99pts, race#2 100pts)
Ty 199 points (race #1, 100pts, race #2, 99 pts)
Blaine, 196 points (98pts race #1 and #2)
Ken, 194 points (97pts race #1 and #2)

Bob and Ty split and both are present leaders.

And we'd like to welcome Kevin, friend of Ken's, hope you come back again.

Has anyone tried working with local parks departments and community centers for space?

Great racing last night completing round two of the HFAY series. Bob takes home the leader plate with two wins, leading the series with 3 wins over Ty with one. Great to have Paul back, getting a 2nd in his first race back. And Ken and Kevin O, battling it out throughout the night. Blaine had some technical issues in race one but regrouped the second race for a strong finish. Thanks also to Blaine for setting up and running the new software, it works great
