Default Brushless approval?

What's the deal? The Neo was allowed at the Onroad Carpet Nats along with the Novak, Why wouldn't it be ok for regionals? Can you maybe ask the powers to be for their responce? My understanding was that Roar was leaving it up to the track to determine if the brushless was going to be allowed or not.

As for brushless, the only APPROVED motor at this time is the Novak Teardown...so any of the systems currently out from Novak are legal to be run....

The Reedy motor is NOT approved at this time...

Keep in mind, this does not stop you from running the speed controls.....speed controls are not approved item by roar rules....just motors, batteries, and bodies....

The Carpet Nats had a one time deviation - as posted on the website. There were no brushless motors approved at that time yet several that met specifications were allowed to compete. (no, this is not the place to argue that entire mess again.... just explaining to the above post.)

Now, there is a brushless motor on the approval list as there is ONE 19T motor on the approval list - as these will be the only motors allowed.

Thanks for the clarification. I also heard that the Neo was left off the list by mistake. Can you give me the current and possibly the future status of the Neo?

Thanks,

"ONE 19T motor on the approval list"
And that motor would be...?...
To lazy to look it up, or would that be.. to frustrated to look it up.

Neo.... I do not know the status but I will find out. Give me a few days, if you can.

Danny - 19T Trinity (will find out exactly which one)... on the approval list.. if not there yet, should be soon. Was approved last week.

There was like 25 entries at our last offroad regional......I didn't see the point in spreading the races across even more classes....

Our event already has like 6 classes....going to 8 or 9 didn't seem very constructive....

Not to mention, very few, if any of the local tracks run it as a class for club racing.....

Is this where you tell me 19t is a required class?

Even Cherry will agree with me on this one.....

no, I won't.

the "why" wasn't for you anyway.. it was for David, as he said "offroad".

You can run or not run 19T .. .whatever you want.....

would you relax?? Nothing personal should ever be taken here..

Does "Peel It" scoring software support personal transponders?
