olympia is just south of tacoma. like franko said bout another half hour.

weather outlook is getting better. the chance of rain dropped from 40% to 30%. by the time sat shows up it should be down to nill.

Just talked to Kody.. he is on the road in Utah. When he gets to the hotel he will be reviewing the weather and make the call. There is rainout dates. Pretty sure it's toast..

But would you enjoy driving down there and hoping it works out? I want to race more than anyone but not wanting to packing up all my gear and 2 of 3 kids to wait while the track dries out. Did that too many times. Heck I am only going to race 3 times this summer and that would cut it to 2 since I wouldn't be able to hit the rain out date. Oh well...more time with the whole family..

They have an indoor dirt track, so I'll be bringing some off-road cars as rainout backups.

IMO I would call it and have a better chance of dry weather on the rain out date. That track needs dry conditions and I mean dry as in low humidity as well. With the bumps and elevation changes even the slightest moisture (haha I said moist) would really ruin your day. Just have at the dirt track.

Don't call it this is racing folks. Get up early drive to the track and hope it does not rain. Calling it would be a jinx and then the sun comes out.

Better to call it than have 1/4 the turnout, on road folks are a picky bunch lol

All of us that are a good distance will look out the window in the morning and make our own call..

All that said I wanna race!

That's why it's good to have a full scale car that you like. An hour trip is just an excuse to warm up the real tires

I know some fun country/mountain roads in the area that could aid in that very nicely... lemme know when you're free

Pullhard!!! Have at it... drive on up with NOAA showing 80% showers now. You can liquid wrench Earlicks tires.
