With no Gas Sedan being offered @ this years FWR Sizzler , might have to come down and run some Nitro TC, maybe Mod TC as well

When does the RC fun continue?!! I have finally recovered just today but want to plan more for RC time.

Ryan, when you have recovered from the GP let us know the outdoor TZ/RCSR schedule before the winter rain rolls in.

Thanks,

Default Next Race--King's Kruz-In

The next race on the schedule is at the King's Kruz-In at Glenwood Community Church, 12201 N.E. 72nd Avenue, Vancouver, WA, on August 2nd. This is our one remote race this year, and we'll be setting up the track bright and early Saturday morning, at 7am. We try to finish up early to coincide with their car trophy presentation at 2pm. Satellite view on Google maps can show you last year's course. Info on the event can be found here.

I will hopefully be dropping off the trailer Thursday or Friday. I would like people to show up Friday to help Richard D build the track Friday night.

I am getting rid if my DM1 to continue to get my nitro sedan together. I am selling it as a roller with a Werks clutch for $130. I am only selling it to someone who is willing to continue racing it at Timezone.

Whoever buys this I will give a 1 season ran Nova Rossi P3xs motor. We ran these the first season. They are probably a little off pace now but great little practice motor and club race motor. I think I may have a pipe and manifold with it as well.

This Saturday, Aug 2nd, is our only race not at Timezone Raceway Park this year. In case you are curious of the track layout/size, Google Earth helped us out recording the parking lot after a race. Here's a link. Or, you can see it by going to the Rose City Scale Racing web site and clicking on "Tracks" in the upper right corner of the web page. Thanks Google!

0700-0800 Track finishing & pit set-up
0800-0815 17.5 Practice
0815-0830 F1 Practice
0830-0845 Scale Spec/VTA Practice
0845-0900 GT8 Practice
0900-0915 Driver's meeting
0915-0925 Free Practice
0930-1030 Qualifying
1030-1130 A1
1130-1200 Lunch break (& free practice? demos?)
1200-1300 A2
1300-1400 A3
1400-1500 Track break-down
1500-1530 Pit break-down

This gives electrics 50 minutes between runs.
I think we should go with roughly the same schedule again, adding 10th scale nitro back into the mix. Cost for this race is $5 for everyone, RCSR member or not. All racers will get a free lunch also with your race fee This is our biggest exposure of the year! I want to see close, action packed racing going on with all of us laughing and having a great time!

Bringing the VTA, and possibly the F1.

Default F1

I haven't seen a lot of F1s this season; can I get a sound-off of who wants to run F1 on Saturday?

I could bring my Nitro Sedan and GT8.

How long will the nitro finals be? 20 min?

Let me know. Thanks,

We run triple mains of 5 or 7 min each in nitro. This is more of an exhibition than a race.
