So have you guys practiced on the new layout yet? Any indication on tires? Just trying to decide what to bring : )

I haven't run on it yet, my friend did yesterday and said it packed down and calibers were not the tire to have. I have a new set of super soft calibers with aka foams that I will try tonight as well as some subcultures and double dee's. something like the wishbones may be a hot ticket

I straight feel like a holeshot type tire will be hot this weekend.

Racing at 12:00 Sunday, doors open at 8:00. Practice all Saturday (including sign ups for Sunday!) Bring a fan, it's gonna be a hot one!

Did a little testing yesterday. My new calibers felt good, older pairs were not good. The double dee's were okay. It's really tough to gauge tires. It's packed down clay but it gets slick in the corners. I still want to try more tires.

Holeshots were hot during happy hour tonight, but Calibers and City Blocks did nobody wrong. The surface is hard packed but not much clay (if any)

Awesome day! For those of you that are on the fence, get out there and hang with the Grants Pass guys! Fun crew and they ran a very good program! Turnout was good, racing was close and track conditions were consistent all day! 3 rounds of quals plus mains so plenty of runtime! Indoor warehouse so weather was not a factor, lighting inside was great so I am sure they will night race eventually. Tires will last forever on that surface, I hardly noticed any wear at all - my tires still look new! Nice pit area with easily accessible power and plenty of room. I had a blast and once again I want to thank Mr. Bartle and Caleb for all the work and effort they put in to make that track happen! Awesome stuff! I had a blast and will definitely be back sometime!
