$pring $hoot Out @ Rain City
Yep, something new and different. A 2 day event in 1 day! on March 26th.
And a chance to get some $$ back. This will be a good warm up for Regionals the following weekend-or for those not going here’s a chance to have a good battle before the nitro season hits!
Here’s most of the info-if you have any other questions, ask away. Doors open at 8am on Saturday, practice till 9:30-Racing starts at 10:00am and close when we’re finished. Probably 3 qualifiers and then mains. We’ll probably do qual points and hope to do triple A mains. Try to do something different. It will all depend on the turnout.
Fees: $20 per class
Please pay on entry-in cash please-easier to pay you your $$
Top 3 winners in each class get a $$ amount. A TQ bonus too!
Please sign up before March 24th. I already have about 18 entered. Just let me know if you plan on coming and the classes entered. Minimum of 6 entries for a class.
A good number of stock and 12th and mod entered. I heard that Darren is coming over too!
We’ll be running a sportsman class, instead of the spec-that way you can run your own stock motor and tires. We also know who is a “pro” stock and a sportsman! No bagging of sand please.
19t is offered in foam and rubber-must have at least 6 entries in each class or it will be rubber-sign up!
Classes: stock motors=ROAR approved
Sedan Stock, rubber
Sportsman Stock, rubber
19T Mod rubber
19T Mod foam
Sedan Modified foam
1/12 Stock
1/12 Modified
1/18 trucks/mini’s depending on what shows up-may just run for fun, or if enough we can do a $$ amt too.

We did a calculation, the pay out for a class with up to a b-main was impressive. Not bad for 3rd place either. Hopefully we'll run triple a-mains so everyone in the a-main has a reasonable chance to win.
Like Debbie said, should be a great race to warm up for regionals or the kick off to outdoor season.
IMO the $20 race fee is very reasonable. Only a few bucks more than what most tracks charge for a regular club race.

This is an indoor carpet race and has no relation to the race in Wenatchee.....

Name
Different race, same area. Dont you think they could have called it something different? Kind of confusing, and uncreative.

Sorry about the confusion.
But it's kind of spring time here in the Seattle area and it just came to me. But we're using $$ signs instead of SSSS...because it's a pay out.
And it's at Rain City which is carpet and Wenatchee I assume is dirt. I guess it's in the same state, but the areas are spaced out a bit by a few hours travel time.
Didn't mean to step on anyones toes...I'll work on the creativity.
If you want to enter, we'd be glad to have ya..
