Speaking of runtime, my battery wasn't even charged all the way in the mod main........... Had to drive softer, but just conserved and brought in consistent laps and picked my lines carefully. I still made it!!!!!!!!! lol

race length is not a problem for a properly built motor,

We have proven that a mod. motor can last for 10hrs straight without any maintance.

As for brushed motors compeating with brushless. Let the brushed motors have the same no restrictions as brushless and you'll see faster longer running brushed motors.

Currently in the Brood shop there is a 8 neo-mag motor that could revolutionize brushed motors.

Yup !

concern about the novice & newer racer`s ?

It seems they do not.....

(Edit) reason to encourage usefull posts towards improving Fantasy Racing program)

If they were concered they would just extend the mod heats run time & leave the newbies without all the new fast battery`s & motor sponsorships to race 5 minutes....

Thats not gona happen however, sense its more fun to win 6 minute heats, than having to race 5 minute heats....

I would think that any "NEW" racer would have 3300's. Even unmatch stick packs can go 6 min's.
Any motor that is geared correctly can go 6 min's.

The fact is "ROAR" is way behind in almost everything they do.

In fact George I don't see why you are commenting about things at FW. You don't race there and when you do show up you race in the mod. class at 5 min's.
I don't want to start a flame war.
I think that comments are welcome as long as there is a revelent point.
A wild untrue statement like this. Does nothing for FW or racing in general.

"concern about the novice & newer racer`s ?

Not really..."

The fact is Novice and newer racers race 5 mins.
By the time a novice is ready for stock they are running 3300+ batteries. And are aware that they will be going 1 whole min. longer. And still have 200+ seconds left in their battery's when done.

Tim , all do respect ...
This is a public forum......

I did race race once this last year at Fantasy as well, I guess you have to race all the time & something to post ?

If so how many times do you have to race at Fatasty World to post ?

Ps , I would of race more offen , but I disagree with the 6 minute rule..... Still do.....

Thus, my view points....
Which if I understand, are conforming to this Boards rules....

Exclamation Does it count?

As I recall, you had a fit and left before the main.

So, that doesn't count!

I think George is fighting "run time" issue's at home also.

Concentrate George, ready now, in less than 5.

So ANYWAYS...

I know it's easy to sucked into the down-side of things, but on the up-side, who's jacked up about gettin' to race outside next month?

I've got a great set up for the TC4 on asphalt, for anyone who's interested. Same goes for the TC3.

Final drives for 19t from 5.5 to 6 should be fine w/ the Reedy 19t.
I like the Reedy 767 and 766 brushes and plan to try both and pck a winner.

As for tires/inserts, I plan to run nothing but Sorex this season. 32's for the cold, 36's for the hot. Yok. 039f work good on the loose days, and 037f works great on the sticky days.

I'm ready to go outside. Running rubber tires again seems like a nice change of pace lol. I ran 766's mostly outdoors at FW when I ran there. If your lazy like me you dont have to rebuild it that much at all lol.
