Well I am not sure exactly how the $40 challenge works and I don't recall anyone ever challenging a motor @ dave's but I am pretty sure that they don't unwide any arms.

And according to Dave the 19T sedan class for his club is 19T fixed timing spec motors with machine wound arms only.

You could probably stretch the rules to allow you to use a V2 endbell conversion or even mix and match arms and cans but they are pretty clear about machine wound, 19 turns and fixed timing.

well i took a nap to refresh my mammories. if i remember correctly, it was discussed as to which motors (19t) would be legal and which would not. and i think the decision was.... if its hanging on the store wall you could run it. so i guess if eddie was to build a number of motors and dave had them for sale then they would be legal. Busman, kabala, or someone with a better mammory then mine would have help out here. maybe that guy that just reads, and doesn't post.

mammories! Look at my wing span.

if i remember right, but don't quote me, if it's for sale to the general public, off the shelf, then it's legal, why all the hoopla, whats the matter with having close competition, why? oh why? does somebody always feel the need to lap the field, must be that inferiority complex. here we go,motor of ther week club.

screw the rules, lets just play with toy cars.

Does'nt matter anyway, gonna rain all summer anyhow!!!!!!!!!

They come in both machine wound and hand wound version, but regardless of the arm they have adjustable timing so they would be illegal.

Franko,

I could care less what the rules are or if anyone follows them. I am just trying to provide the imformation given to me by the Dave.

Mark

BTW
The 19T rule is posted on the site as 19t – Spec fixed timing motors – Rubber tires, so I guess anything elso goes.
