Default Charity Race Update

Charity Race Update: After discussing with Jim Baldwin who spoke with the board, in the event the charity race is rained out, the whole points season will be pushed back a week to run on what would have been season points opener. The chance of rain for friday the 27th was 60%, but has now dropped to 20%. We have some great prizes coming, from Team associated we have a reedy battery charger, some shirts, hats, body scissors, tools, banner and shock oil sets. From Great Plains, we have an Onyx charger. From TM tires we have a BUNCH of tires. From Mcallister we have bodies and stickers, From RPM we have, camber gagues, banner, bearing blasters, parts trays and decals. From Castle Creations we have 6 gift certificates, 3 of them are for 50 percent of one item, 3 are for 30% off an item, thats a big discount on brushless stuff. Tims hobby shop is giving 2 losi 1/18th scale Losi RTR's and possibly some other misc items. Broadway Hobbies and Performance RC will be bringing they're raffle items in person or sending day of race. There are more places we havent heard from yet, so there could definatly be more.

Thanks goes out to the track crew and people who atttended work parties for either track and to the board, and to Dick Reece for helping with promoting race and especially the sponsors of the dirt oval charity race and the NCT.

Awesome turnout for the opener!! Raised good funds for the charity, and had an awesome raffle. Thanks to all that showed. I felt the track was pretty good. as the night went on, it got better. Electric 1/8th LM showed great for the first time ever running, I think 12 was the count. overall, pretty clean racing. Thanks to all who made this event happen!

I agree, Thanks to lester for running the show, all the people that helped with the track, patrick for the tent space, and all the sponsors that gave raffle items. Only thing i saw that was a problem was that inside wall. When 2 cars went side by side and the inside guy hit wall it shot him into the outside guy and both were S.O.L. hey guys if you have an extra b4 check this guy out on facebook: Lancebuilt racecars. He makes a bolt on sprint cage for a b4.
