Rennsport Reunion @ Laguna Seca October 14-16 2011
 

Just thought I would post some pictures of a trip I recently took with some of my family. Really nice and famous Porsche's. This is just a small sampling of the pictures that we took. I will post more soon.

This was only the 4th reunion of the porsches and the 1st on the west coast.

Very cool! I was just down at Laguna the week after driving a Skip Barber MX-5. What an incredible track, really wishing I would of gone down a week earlier to attend the Rennsport event.

Rennsport was very cool, one of my brothers who drove down with his Porsche was able to get on the track with 120 other Porsche's for a two lap parade. He said the track was obviously very fun, and the corkscrew turn is incredible.

You would have enjoyed it. I talked with one of the organizers of the event and he doubts it will ever by back to Laguna.:cry: I am glad we went.

The Gt1 is beyond badass. I miss that era of race cars. The CLK GTR and GT-One were also big favorites of mine.

Dude that must of been an epic time down there watching all those historic race cars bang gears around Laguna!

Its cool to see the innovations on all the different cars from their certain era's. Porsche was really ahead of their time. That GT1 is amazing as well as all the other old butes! Id love to see an hear the Rothmans 962 my absolute favorite race car! Makes me think of Serpent 1/10 gas car racing:nod:
