2. Box Stock Short Course Truck
-Any current production 2 wheel drive short course vehicle may be used.
-Motor 19 turn, 17T Reedy, or 12T 550 may be used (any RTR SC motor can be used/ no brushless)
-Can use any 2 cell 7.4V lipo or 7.2V 6 cell NIMH battery pack (brushed motors may use 7 cell NIMH packs)
-Vehicle must appear to be a store bought short course kit with body off. No homemade creations using non short course parts.
-Aftermarket parts allowed RPM plastics (excluding chassis) and turnbuckles
-Stock or aftermarket parts must be made specifically for the vehicle you are running.
-Must use any body made specifically for a 1/10 scale short course vehicle.
-Must use original RTR kit tires (Kyosho, Associated, HPI, Traxxas)


No brushless motors, ok so if the kit comes with a brushless motor can you change it out for a brushed motor i.e. “-Motor 19 turn, 17T Reedy, or 12T 550 may be used”?

Battery’s, looks like brushed motors can use a 7 cell?

-Stock or aftermarket parts must be made specifically for the vehicle you are running.
So dose this mean that you can put velvet shocks on a Kyosho rtr?

To add to the above post, can we change the plug on the ESC for box-stock? My SC10's battery plug came apart during the race last night, and I would rather upgrade to deans plugs.

I would like to race in the novice class with my Slash. I have installed the LCG kit with the Rustler parts, will I be allowed to run in the novice class with this truck?

you can run novice but if you outrun the class then they will ask you to move up to the next class . 4x4 mod sc or 2 mod sc . most people will go from novice to stock 2wd sc with 17.5 motor no timing or boost
