Default cut tires

Not trying to reopen and old tread.
But are cut tires still not going to be allowed for 1/8 scale buggy for the series, I would hope that after all the talk on the subject that there might have been a change in the no cut tires rule
Thanks

Hey, Mike, why not add a make-up race down at the Frog? Just a thought...

Default what talk

1/8th SCALE BUGGY:
Cut truck tires will not be allowed for '05.
what talk? this was decided by all the NWCT directors in the fall. As far as i know there has been no changes. There are no indoor hardpack tracks involved this year, so tires should not be an issue. Cut truck tires were implemented last year to accomodate Monster hobbies, and TRCR. Neither one reupped this year.
maybe Les or one of the other NWCT directors would know better, but this is my understanding.

Default winners

Series winners get a free entry into the class that they won, as long as they have a paid first class, the freebie is considered a second class. And as a bonus, they get to run the #1 plate all season in that class.

Dont forget, at RCCCW, Shoot-Out Winners also get that class free. So if you won a class at the Shoot-Out, but did not win the class for the series you still get a free entry into that class, same rule goes as it being considered a second class. I could be giving away a lot of free entries...... 7 series winners, and 7 race winners, The Series Directors 2 freebies..... ouch.... LOL. Thatll be fun,. cant wait to race outdoors again.
