The no truggies rule will save me about $2000 not building a truggy.

How will the truggy issue be handled at the races, to avoid the problems we had this year? If a truggy shows up will they be told to put it back in the trunk?

truggies will not be racing with the Maximizer Super Monster Trucks.

Each host will have to decide to add a event only class for them or not

1 Xtreme R/C, you must be having better luck with your LST than most owners are. Check out some of the threads on this site. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/foru...smode_1/tt.htm

No one I personally know has been able to routinely keep their LST running through a whole 20-minute main!

Default Double Bumps in Electric Classes?

Hey, If we run double or single bumps in the electric classes that means we'll have to wait for all the sub mains to run before you can run any "A" mains. We are running triple "A" mains right? Which means those of us that run more than one class and are in the "A" mains will be back to back to back to back to back mains. You get what I mean?

Default not a problem

CRAAIR- It shouldnt be a problem, there are at least 8 classes running at each race, so chances of running in the same hour are slim.

example, mod 4wd A-Main #1 race 10
stk truck A-Main #1 race 11
stk 2wd A-Main #1 race 12
mod 2wd A-Main #1 race 13
mod truck A-Main #1 race 14
gas truck D-main race 15
Monster Truck C-main Race 16
1/8th scale C-main race 17
mod 4wd A-Main #2 race 18
stk truck A-Main #2 race 19
stk 2wd A-Main #2 race 20
mod 2wd A-Main #2 race 21
mod truck A-Main #2 race 22
gas truck c-main race 15
Monster Truck b-main Race 16
1/8th scale b-main race 17

so you will not run the same car for at least an hour, However, if you are running 3 electric classes, and make the show in all three, it could be busy, depending on how the race director sets up the race order for the mains. chances are, if this is your problem, then, it would be that way for the heats also. bumps, and/or tripple As wouldnt make a difference.
did that make sense and answer your questions??? hope so.
I think it just lessens the seperation between nitro and electric classes, and gives equal oportunity to everyone.

Maybe I'm just lucky, but I love mine so far.

Ran it in Spokane for the Regionals, ran great, nothing broke, finished 4th.

Ran it at TRCR for the Gold Cup, ran great, nothing broke, finished 2nd.

Ran it at the Wenatchee Money race, ran great, did break an axle in the last 2 minutes, finished 2nd.

Ran it in Clarkston for the Snake shootout, had engine problems there but an LST did TQ in a field of about 20 trucks.

The REVO is an awesome truck also, and I might end up geting one yet (got a new P2 that needs a home). But I realy like my LST and plan on running it for the NCT next year, I'll shed as much weight off it as I can and it should be hard to beat.

There's no replacement for displacement

Corey- That is a good set up... However the year that I went to the Shoot Out and you ran that set up the triples were very very hard to run due to there never being enough time.. All that you would need to do is run the Triples inbetween the 30 minute gas mains. That gives ample time and ablsolutley no one could complain about there not being enough time.

All lower mains gas and electric

then

Go Electric A1 Mains
Gas Truck a main
Electric A2 mains
Pro 1/8th A Main
Electric A3 Mains
Monster Truck A main

Have the gas guys corner gas and the electric guys corner electric

that will give plenty of time to not only charge but change your vehicle if the track changes in any dramatic ways...

the bump system is awesome!!!! It is the next wave!!! Just a lil bit more of a head ache for the rd that is all LOL

Good changes made this year!!! It should be fun

Personally, I'm amped about the electric bumps! I've wanted that for years, but it doesn't fit well schedule-wise in smaller (club) races.

Plus, knowing about it now gives my plenty of time to get a second (decent) charger, another battery or two, and a spare motor.

One question which may be important (to me) this spring: Will 4 stroke engines be legal in gas truck? (OS FS-26C only .54HP)

If not, it's no biggie, it just means only spokane club races will feature the THUMPER.

1 Extreme R/C, thanks for the info. about your LST. Good to hear that the truck is working well for some. The LST's I have raced against really turned well, and would definitely be one of the best in Standard MT (non-truggy) if they would stay together.

I know two racers who have the LST's that are giving up on them as they are breaking so often Once the "bugs" are worked out they should be a good truck

I like TSB's idea, but switch the Monster truck and 1/8 scale A's. MT's tear up the track less. and with enough entries maybe run

Electric A1 Mains
All gas B mains (45 min total)
Electric A2 mains
Gas Truck A main
Electric A3 Mains
Monster Truck A main
Pro 1/8th A Main

That would still give time between runs for electrics and the track would be tore up less.

At the Snake race they ran the last round of electric A's after all the gas A's. Talk about a rough track. Gave the turn marshals a workout also.

So I say get the electric A's done as soon as possible with still allowing the B main bumps time to cool off and recharge, or swap motors.

Oh.....sorry,

What about the 7 car minimum? seems like alot, I know 2 Mod wasn't packed every race, but I know they would like to run. There was at least 5 at each race this year.

I would have to imagine it would be like the Snake, where if there wasn't enough for 2mod, run 'em with either 4mod or mod truck if they really want to run. Then again, I don't know how strict that rule is depending on what the hosting track wants to do.

I like the challenge of running against mod trucks with a mod buggy, and I thought the torn up track was really fun! It's a different kind of technical that I am just beginning to appreciate this year, but I'm starting to really like the challenge of rough tracks.
