Just entered 3 more in 4x4 SC.
and 12 total entrys from our crew. Raining like hell here, has been for about a week. they're saying at least a SOLID week more of rain. We have all new fresh built cars to bring over, and not a one of them has been driven, stupid weather... Our race trailer is seriously stuck in the mud, and now looks like a sponge because it got hailed out last spring... stupid hail. and our track is under about a foot of water. and because of the rain, we can't spray the track and we'll be overgrown with weeds before we leave, and you couldn't walk on the trac on a dare without sinking up to your hip. I'd say we're right on track like normal... ;P~~~
Got the trailer out... took 3 hours with a bobcat, but it's out... had to get several loads of 3/4 crushed rock and make a road to it after removing about a foot thick road of mud. *UGH*.... I'm starting to really dislike "spring".
I'm seeing us spending the weekend at the Hank, snuggled in the trailer, making popcorn and hot chocolate, curled up by the heater. 42 degree weather, Yelling out the door, "HE'S NOT GONNA MAKE IT..." and then making smores and watching a movie. ...lol...
<---wins the "whine about the weather" trophy.
I'm betting there's a lot of us in the "not quite ready" boat.

you racin at the Hank or what? I asked Pete if he and Tessman might make it down. Completely selfish on my part, I know he knows Associated offroad "stuff" so I offered to let him pit in the trailer in return for what would have been 48 hours of "what's this do"? I think that scared him off. Don't think we'll see Pete anyway, I think theres something local in Canada going on. Not sure what it could be, but now that it's warmed up to 65 below zero as spring approaches in the Great White North could be anything. Cut the lawn, rake leaves, put the snow tires back in the living room.
I might have a Stampede or two laying around. I'll bring one for ya to run. we do offroad to relax, and have a good time, I look forward it. A story about how your car flew off the track and landed in a dumpster is WAY better than talking about your G-main battle. We'll save all that hard work and late night wrenching for 1/12th scale.
Top it all off. I had Randon offer to paint my bodys. I was like "AWESOME, have at it". I was over at the pits tonight and see my 2wd SC truck is painted in a Hello-Kitty theme... I should have been more specific than, "have at it". ...lulz...
