On-Road Regionals again
I know their is a thread for this, but wanted to start another one.
Who is going and who is not, I would like to go, but if turnout is going to be low, then why bother.

The hold-up on getting entries out was that the club was trying to secure an even better location than the original. Our Club President succeeded in getting Northern Quest Casino's parking lot. If you aren't familiar with the casino, it's a very large new (and very popular) casino located in Airway Heights (5 minutes West of Spokane) just off I-90.

I don't know the final track dimensions yet but I know the track will be very large. Les, our club President, is going to the Casino tomorrow to lay out the track so we should know dimensions after that. As for accommodations, anything close to downtown Spokane is within 10 minutes from the track. If you want to be really close, there are several new hotels in Airway Heights and near Spokane International Airport.
Here is a few that are very close to the track (there are a lot more than just this list):
Travelodge
4301 W SUNSET BLVD
Spokane, WA 99224
Holiday Inn Spokane Airport
1616 WINDSOR DRIVE
Spokane, WA 99224
Ramada Inn Airport
8909 AIRPORT RD
Spokane, WA 99219
Hampton Inn
2010 SOUTH ASSEMBLY ROAD
Spokane, WA 99224
Spokane West-Airport Motel 6
I-90 at Exit #277 West, Exit #277-A East
1508 South Rustle Street
Spokane, WA 99224
Phone: (509) 459-6120
There are a couple new hotels right in Airway Heights but I'm not too sure of the names right now.
If you don't want to pay online with paypal, that's fine...just go ahead and signup online (www.rcccs.com) anyways and just pay when you get to the race. We are aware that the flyers and entries are very late getting out so we wont be deleting any unpaid online entries prior to the race.
Hope you all can make it to the race.
Thanks,
Colin

This will be a great site for some on road racing. The Casino is going out of there way to help the Club host this event. There are only a couple of places worth hold a race like this and a virgin parking lot is it. There will be a portable genarator to power all of the pits. Make sure you bring a table, power cords and EZ Up. I wish I was going to be in town, but I have to travel to KC that week and won't make it back in time to help out. Motels a food won't be a problem Airway heights has it all. Good luck to everyone.
