Default New Track in Clarkston, WA--Lancer R/C

This thing is huge!!!! 150ft by 100ft racing surface, the pit area is 150 by 500 with plenty of power and we are adding more outlets. Rick Mccreary designed and built the layout, so technical and fast are the words of the day. The track sits right behind Lancer Lanes in the Lewis-Clark Valley, a family fun center with miniture golf, bowling, restaurant, bar, and casino, (Ya I said it, casino!!!) We will be having our first race the weekend of October 9th and 10th. Currently there will be some nice cash and prizes to be given away for the race, and the local radio station will be doing a three hour live remote on Saturday. Shaping up to be some fun goin' on in here. More info and pictures as they become available.

I had the opportunity to run on the track this weekend. Its hands down the largest track in the NW. All the lanes are 12 to 14ft wide, in addition to that none of the lanes touch each other, the lanes are all seperated by grass as well as pipe. The Front straight is like 150,160ft. Its like having a worlds track in the NW, this track will be reconized as one of the best off road facilities in the NW/West Coast No BS, Its that incrediable.

There will be pictures posted soon.....

The Track is real close to the same distance from Portland,Tacoma,Tri-cites to Spokane, as it is Clarkston.

The Track Surface is real similar to Suillivan track, It would be very easy to groove the track as well, I'm not sure what they end up doing.

Randy- The track is open anytime for the most part. It will be gas and electric race.

I'm so excited for the their fist Annual race in October, It's like running at a worlds event. Anyone who attends the race in October will understand what I mean by a world class track. The track has intergrated sprinkler systems, Its all fenced in with 6ft fence, and all fenced in pit space on grass. There is also a 60by40 track at the same location for tunning purposes and to work on setups.

Default Sounds great

Sounds sweet - I'll be there in October!

Who owns the track? Does it have set hours for practice or club races?
