Default NORA/Skagit River Raceway On-Road Series

Less than two months till the start of our second year of on-road racing at the Skagit Fairgrounds. Have had a lot input to put this season together so it should be a lot of fun and good racing with the addition of the NWIC race coming the first weekend in November. Will get our series schedule posted shortly so everyone can start getting those cars ready for the winter carpet season.

Default Bomber Cars

So it looks like the 17.5 is gone from VTA, what is the rule for ESC other then limited? Is it just no timing? Or is there gonna be a list that we should go from? I currently have a GTB which I figure will be legal everywhere but I am adding another car and driver so I would like to pick something up and I am thinking of getting away from the GTB.

Also how strict is the body rule? I currently run a 61 Impala that actually draws a crowd when I break it out but it is currently not on the USVTA approved list.

We will be using Sweep QTS 32 or Jaco blues for our stock T.C. spec tire

On the issue of limited esc is that timing advances can be programmed out to make a level playing field. ROAR has a list of esc and what functions they can be programmed to make it simple to tech.

Where did you find a '61 impala body, I believe it would still class as vintage in that era we are trying to establish.

Vintage T/A + Vintage Driver..... Sounds like a good fit. Count me in.
I'm going to need some HELP. Never raced on carpet and I don't know if I remember how to turn right.

Did some research on the Camino through the archives and found that the Camino was in the Trans-Am series back in the day, it was used to pull the trailer that had the race car on it, that should be a good seen to see that coming through the doors at the fairgrounds

The 27 turn motors are almost extinct, so lets not show off your age, last year was a lot of testing and comparison of different motors so to keep it competitive it will be 21.5 at the fairgrounds

Will you be able to make it to Hangar for the start of our combined series next week where you can run a silver can in T/A

Default Gearing Question

Can anybody that ran a TC3 last year for the Trans Am class tell me what gears I should have for the Fairgrounds Track?

And what spare parts for the TC3 I should probably have on hand.
