Ron, I was using just the stock gear that came with the car. I believe it to be a 72. Steering knuckles, C hubs, rear hubs and F&R A-arms. Mayby a shock tower too, just in case but you never know with Lapper on the track.
Cant have too much Shoo-Goo either!

Thanks Matt.
I appreciate the info.
This will bit of a learning curve, but it sounds like the T/A class is a good class to learn in.

Default FORMULA ONE RACING

Just working out the last of the details on F1 rules written up by one of our members and it should be posted shortly on the NORA web sight and I will get it on this sight shortly afterwords.

It should be a lot of fun to see the different types of road racing this year at the faigrounds, the competition should be challenging with the larger number of entries per class.

Default SCHEDULED PRACTICE DAY

Talked with the club and on the 16th of october I will be setting up the on-road coarse for anyone that would like to come down for the day and tune in those road coarse cars before the season at the fairgrounds starts.

There will be a $5.00 practice fee for each racer if they bring one car or multiple cars. It will be an on-road practice day starting at 9:00am and going to about 5:00pm.

Just a question to all if any are interested in a practice day!!!

Where did you find a '61 impala body, I believe it would still class as vintage in that era we are trying to establish.
Ok cool thanks...

The body is a Parma that I bought from Wes at Hobbytown and did a lot of trimming on and a stack of stickers from Ben Wheeler at EGTC to make it look like a true Bomber car.

WOW!!! what a great day, had a good turnout for a practice day with the new layout and it held up exceptionally well for a first day. We will be making some minor adjustments but thanks to everyone that showed up and gave there input.

Looked like a lot of people were trying many different setups and were making great progress with all the track time that was available.

Just a reminder next Saturday we will be having a drivers meeting at 10:00 or 10:30 and racing will be starting shortly afterwords. I should have the doors and the track setup by 8:00am for a couple hours of practice before.

Take the Anderson Rd. exit #225 go west to Old Hwy. 99 then north to Taylor Rd. go west to the south entrance to the fairgrounds and enter through the gate we will be in the first red building, pleases don't park in the grass around the building per park request.
