it's the only class left isnt it?...sc killed rc racing and introduced sc track bashing...i go to a local track in scappoose oregon which lets me run my 1/8 buggies but every lap i find myself stuck behind 10 sc trucks that are weaving all over the place and smashing into each other constantly...good times

Isn't a track that's not running organized racing then by definition a basher track? It's not as though they're ruining your TQ run or something and the basher crowd pushes a lot of money into this hobby and it's stores, mfgs, etc.

If it bothers you that much, you should consider moving on from 1/8th, buying a 1/10th car and spend your summer outdoor rc time actually racing at Daves. Sounds like you'd enjoy some clean competition.

yah i just love 1/8 buggy...theres a true beauty and art to 1/8 buggy because of how controllable they are imo...1/10 just seems sloppy, lucky(if you can keep the tires to the track) and easily broken

I understand what you're saying. I drove on an informal loam-based track in Sequim for years. The track in Scappoose is nothing like a formal racing track. Driving on a well-groomed clay-based track is a whole different ball game bro.

You should come out to Top Gear when they open their doors and get your hands on a 10th scale for a pack or two. Give it a shot. You'll love it man!

Updated - PRCR is now under new ownership. Look for Top Gear Hobbies at the same location and re-opening early November 2012.
