Looking forward to finally running with you guys this year.
I'd heard that there was a new owner at Aero, had thought maybe Mark bought the place and was pretty excited. I went in there two weeks ago and found out that it's another person who really has no interest in the racing program. It's really a shame that they don't partner with CRA a bit more, considering they sit on the same piece of land. Just doesn't make sense. Probably one of the oddest arrangements in the hobby...

The new owner does have an interest in our racing program, he just doesn't have much experience with rc racing.......yet. He has made some pretty big changes in the store. His supply of parts isn't quit what it could be, because the store has lost alot of racer business over the past few years. I do know however, that it can and will get better as long as people start coming back. It just takes time.

I guess he should get some new employees, then. The kid that was in there a few weeks ago said the owner had no interest, and that they had no clue what was going on with the track or CRA. Matter of fact, I was told that CRA may not even run out there this year.
Mark is a great guy and runs a great program. It's really a shame that the adjoining hobby shop doesn't heavily promote the racing. The owner may not know much about r/c, but he's got to get some people in there that do. Next to A-Main, Aero is probably the most desireable racing setup out there. A decent sized track with an attached hobby shop.

Well, anyone is better the the old owner, Leon. I hated that guy! As long as Big Jon is working there, you'll be set.

Big Jon isnt working there anymore. And it sounds as if Josh has one foot out the door. That leaves no RC guys.

I'm sure Doug will make it out....I'll call Nick Castrignano and see if he wants to race. Maybe Greg will show up and we can run a stock truck class.

Default Track Build Thursday Night 6/3/04

Hey the weather is finally going to break enough to build a track. I'll be around the track after about 3pm, so any help after work til about 9pm would be greatly rewarded.
