World GT, 2s, 21.5, with a detached wing LeMans body and pink rears would be the one class I would give up sedan for outdoors.

Maybe this would be a good idea for curbing

Stuff like that can be good and bad though. Remember the track is only 130x90 so if we want a decent lap time track IMO we can't go to crazy.
NorCal Hobbies did it right. Limited curbs well thought out. A few options possible but not to many to make only 1 or 2 good and the rest just odd to drive. Most places that have a bunch of options only end up using 1 or 2 as like I mentioned the rest are just so so.

The asphalt is down. The check to the contractor is mailed. Well done everyone!

It's not a track, yet, but I think it's safe to start letting the imagination run with the possibilities. I am!
I'll be getting a plan out with next steps over the next week to ten days. I would like to get some berms, or parts of berms, out on the slab by Thanksgiving. Right now, there are ecology blocks keeping any knuckleheads with full-size cars off of it. But those have to go eventually (the blocks, knuckleheads are a permanent fact of life, unfortunately). If it has curbs on it, I am confident that will keep cars off long term.
In the meantime, if you haven't gone to see with your own eyes, do. It's fantastic.

in the old days, at FW, we ran the WGT with the spec tires 4 cell and 10.5 i think or maybe it was 13.5 and you had to drive the car... we also used to run 1/12 asphalt until someone said something silly like they didn't work on asphalt..
