What's wrong with ROAR?

So since you have "Boycott ROAR" in your sig are you done with SRCR?

I find it's like saying "I'm done with coke so I'll just smoke a little crack"....

It is a cluster f for sure. But this track is ROAR free.... dialed. When's that asphalt showing up? Kody needs to set a date.

I got a Wraith that's ready for action! Except... the Tekin FXR thermaled on me on my last "accidental exercise" hike with the rig. If we're gonna race sometime, I'll have to address that situation

Wow, I read this entire thread. I just got into RC cars again, in no small part due to the proximity of this track you all built. I volunteer a lot for other organizations, so I know what sacrificing time is about and I want to thank all of you for the hard work. I took my daughters out Saturday to see the track. It is awesome! My new (used) sc10 had a great time too. Of course, I didn't run around too many times since it was wet, and I figure I'll wait until I have backup electronics to tear up mud. Still, the track really upped the rc experience a few notches. A neighbor buddy is shopping for an sc10 now as well so that is two new enthusiasts your track has garnered.

Super fun and I look forward to helping out with the other track. I figure we'll ease our way in with the trucks and then see what class is fun with the road cars later.

Thanks again!

It's been a while since I've been to our SeaTac track (shame on me) so today I decided to venture out. Not sure who did the work or when it happened, but the layout, pipes, jumps, etc., were all much nicer than last time I was there. Impressive and good work!

Traction was decent despite the frozen ground and a small layer of snow here and there. My fingers, on the other hand, lasted only one battery pack.

Back to the plugging your battery charger into the a/c outlet in the back of your truck, it will not blow a fuse it is a converter outlet and has a 60amp fuse, your good to go.

Loving this new layout. Technical enough to be challenging but also can take advantage of your speed.

What's the skinny on the on-road track? I'm always double booked on track work party days.. but would love to pitch in for building out the track.

It's coming along. (If I knew at the beginning how long it would take, I might not have signed on.) The pile of blocks is growing--those are real and tangible, I go and rub them myself just to bolster my belief--and they will become a drivers stand this summer. After that, or in the meantime, I"m looking to get it cleared and grubbed.

Better you than me!

I'll keep my eyes trained here more often for work parties - we've got binders full of RCRK Men who want to pitch in.

Thanks!
