Could it be...could the weather really be turning in our favor.

Also just a house keeping question. Since I'm fairly new to this forum, do you guys prefer imbedded pictures like above or is it more appropriate to just put a link.

Looks like today and tomorrow no rain. I can help today if someone wants to do something. Starting Sunday looks like most of next week will be sunny.

We've done a little pivot and post-up here.

The Bobcat is back to SunBelt. We will rent again in a couple weeks.

Right now we're working behind with the city's engineering department on the final plan and approval for the drivers stand. Yestereday we got approval for the stand concept and location.

1. We can locate part or all of the stand within the gravel drain basin.
2. We can put as little or as much roof on it as we like.
3. It needs to have a minimum height of 4' between ground and deck (stairs excluded, of course.)

The drivers stand team is getting me the final design and layout drawing today/tomorrow, and I will be passing it on for structural review. A materials list will follow, and I will work out procurement with the city. I'm shooting for a stand build in the next two weeks, depending on the schedule.

It's still under development, just an open dirt space for now, no course or anything yet. Here are directions to the BMX track. The future RC Park will be located a block or so to the east. It's right off the street in a wooded area.

Looks great, really like the layout with the roof. We might want to consider putting the shack on the west end as opposed to the east end. That way it will be located closer to the proposed pit area. Also might be nice to have stairs on both ends of the stand. Just my 2 cents.

I agree with both sides having stairs, but I wanted to do Tracy's design as is (with the added roof). Then go from there.

So here is Tracy's design.

Zoomed shots. Added a rise in shack area since race director I assume will be sitting so needs either a stool or a raised floor under him.

Added file in dwf (zipped) if someone wants to play with.

I will modify Tracy's version to add. But right now there are not any walkways near where the driver stand would be nor the pits. Not sure Todd can access the additional funds needed to create these?
