This is just my opinion, the summer sizzler for the longest time was it's own race and it has always been a really fun race to attend. Now I think it is a bummer that it is combined with the roar regional race because now you have to purchase a roar membership or possibly a day pass to race the summer sizzler. I think that the summer sizzler and the roar regional races should be two different races on different weekends. Some people do not want to have to purchase a roar membership to race a bigger weekend race like the summer sizzler, especially those that are new to racing and want to experience a bigger race like the sizzler. Also in the flyer there was no rookie/novice or 25.5 stock TC classes listed, so would those classes be an option for the sizzler/roar regional race or not. And also I think that if seatac and SRCR club is now officially a non-profit then to attract and grow the club and attendance at races, I believe a good way to do this would be to offer the novice class as free or maybe make the novice class be like 5 dollars or free with donations accepted but not required, then also do it the old way and when someone in the novice class wins 3 times they are then forced to choose a different class to race in from that point moving forward. Just some thoughts I wanted to share.
