I brought my SC10 to the dirt track on Sunday and noticed a group of guys running short course trucks on the paved side. They had converted their trucks to on-road after breaking too many parts at the dirt track. That's my plan now...dirt track is too much of a mess to actually run consistent laps. The back triple is a monster to clear even with a 10.5 in a 2WD truck. The front jumps section is janky and the rest of the track is littered with broken piping and rocks...watch out for half-buried spikes that at one time held in the piping! Each time I have been there I have broken something. While I was there on Sunday I broke a CVD, a guy with an ARRMA monster truck broke an axle, and a guy with a LOSI Desert Buggy had wheel and tire issues... we all agreed that the track is a great resource but that it's too beat up; it's basically a basher spot not a track. This public park needs maintenance...it's not safe for the car or fun drive on. As pointed out before, the track is in constant use...constant use needs regular maintenance. See you on the paved side.

I agree with u. The track at SeaTac is for messing around. I run slicks on my sct...theyre for clay though and a soft compound. Id have to look around and do some research for the paved side.
We could make some wood jump ramps and set em on the pave side. Little truck action! I doubt it would be accepted on race days though.
@sneako if u can bring your truck down to Tacoma rc raceway. The truck racing is starting to gain some momentum and I'm hopeful turn outs will increase.
currently I'm lucky to get on the track with 3-4 trucks together.

of course you could! Come to raceday and run with the pan cars and other 1/8th scales.
Contact putawaywet for more details and the OK as he is the race director. He might have a better idea of a class for you.
Ill run rookie class with u if we dont get enough f1 cars

assuming your 1/8 GT is based off a converted 1/8 buggy it is too big to run with the Pro 10 pan cars, you might be able to run with the 1/8 ARC pan cars but we only bring those out on a whim, no regular class. there are a couple of us that have a 1/8 GT car, we will run them in practice, 3 cars make a class, let us know when you're bringing yours out and depending on what other classes we are running we may be able to run ours.

It’s only been a few posts above, But!! Could be this needs to be reposted every couple of posts
I’m thinking there is a reason the Competition Committee keeps things in check
Otherwise things begin to get out of hand.

I took a second to re-read the rules and it shows 21.5 for the F1 motors. I thought we had agreed on 25.5. Just clarifying for the sizzler.

Thanks Devin. I am good, just nbeed to know which ones to mount up. Whewn you have 4 p[otential classes, it can get a little tricky to keep track of which motor goes in which car.
