I'm not from Texas, I only moved here for the economy (which is quite good), so make all the Texas jokes you want I guess....

They can't grow a tree here, it's what we call twigs back home.

Hey Todd, ya got room for a clay oval?

Skagit is averaging around 70 entries every Fri night and a few weeks ago a couple of guys from Bremerton measured the Skagit track and were talking about building an outdoor oval at the Bremerton track.

Here are some pics of a new astro track for reference. Not very pretty but it'll get the job done.

Default Bid Awarded

I reviewed bids with the parks director this week and our contractor has been selected. $6534 plus tax removes the trees and root balls, and includes dumping. A very good price for this project. It should be scheduled by the end of next week, with the actual work being done by the end of the second week of August. I think this is a really good outcome

As someone who grew up going to the fall screenings of Warren Miller films to get my winter stoke going: I was really impressed with the 2wd A3 for IFMAR Worlds in Finland this week. Nice track.

cool video, I think its important to note that they didn't feel the need to put a jump or two every 6 feet or before and after every corner. I like the idea of the carpeted jumps, with that setup your able to move the jumps around the track without having to have a track rebuild party. going to be a good time, on road car count going down, off road car count going up.
