and it's in the calendar!
the only race in question for me right now is TCS. With a wedding/family reunion that week i might have to bow out. a wedding might be the only thing that trumps getting the race schedule in the calendar first!

All-Club Meeting
All-Club Meeting
Reboot the Racing Rules
Saturday, March 23
5pm Pre-meeting at Seatac R/C Raceway
6pm Meeting at Round Table Pizza, 15730 1st Ave S, Burien, WA 98148
Pizza and soda are provided for all attending.
The Seattle RC Racers invite all electric onroad racers to a club meeting to reboot our racing rules. There has been a lot of change for the club in our tenth season. There has also been a lot of change in electric onroad racing around the region and country this past couple years. The Comp Committee is in agreement that we need to gather the larger group of racers to select our race classes, set the rules for classes, and determine the preferred race format for our races at the Seatac R/C Raceway.
Our Comp Committee chairman, Korey Harbke, will conduct the class/rules/format portion of the meeting.
I will be at the track at 5pm for a pre-meeting to review and discuss track and grounds maintenance and improvements.
Round Table is short (5 min. +/-) drive from the track.
Did I mention the free pizza and soda? Free pizza and soda.
For context and interest, I attach current rule books.

I fertilized the grass @ Sea-tac today.

We had a nice work party on Saturday to clean the place up. We bagged up a dozen or more bags of leaves and debris, while Crosier mowed the grass on his rider. The place is looking real nice. Ken, thank you for hitting the grass with the fertilizer, that will help.
Keep your eyes peeled for the season start. Officially, we are due to roll on May 4, but that feels a long way out. The forecast for this weekend is not promising. But let's keep track of the situation and jump on something that looks good.
Get those cars ready!

Do we know yet if TC will be 17.5 or 21.5? I am also guessing there will be a 12 MOD following as well?

2019 Summer Race Classes
We absolutely know what we're racing! With a couple of minor tweaks we're carrying over what we raced last summer:
21.5 USGT - USGT rules
17.5 Super Stock Touring - ROAR rules. Open rubber tire
Modified Touring - ROAR rules. Open rubber tire
Formula 1 - 1050g, rubber tire
Modified 1/12th Scale - ROAR rules
Novice - run what ya' brung (within reason, RD's discretion)
We will run other classes if and as they form up.
3Qs (2 of 3 qual points for the grid)
Single mains

Saturday the 13th, as of right now, is 63 and partly sunny 0% chance of rain. Sounds like a good day for a pre season race!

That is a deep, deep, deep crystal ball prediction!!!
Todd is actually in NY this week working, but he was going to look into additional race dates to be added to the current schedule. Jesse also has his 4 dates that he will be hosting: May 26th, June 9th, July 7th, and Sept 1. I am sure you guys are getting a little anxious to get going. We had a work party last Sat. It was about 3hrs of some intense yard work (wasn't that bad, really). The place looks really sharp. I know Todd was looking at an earlier start date then May 4. Stay tuned.....
