Default BEST gear/hauler bag for 1/10 on and off road?

Traveling to races is getting annoying...either my toolbox is shrinking or I'm accumulating more stuff.

Any strong opinions either way about types/brands of hauler bags? I'd be using it for 1/10 electric on and off road. Would like to have the ability to pack 2 cars and gear in one bag. The Trinity/Protec bags look really nice...

The Team Magic bags are really nice. 1/8th scale bag you should be able to hold 2 cars no problem and has a nice tool rack on top.

I would go with the team Magic bag if you can. It's a little more money but the zippers are much stronger than the Trinity.

This is what I use as well as most of the Pro Drivers. They have allot of room and you can put them under the plane with no problems. You can get these black tubs with wheels at "The Container Store" for $40.00

You should also consider what type of car/truck your going to be using to transport said device. The Team Magic type with the tool rack on top are usually too tall for a trunk, but can be put in a back seat easily enough.
The black trunk above is prone to having it's wheels busted by the airport, but the contents will be good.
Some people just use regular old luggage (with wheels and extension handle) which can work pretty good.

Thanks...usually I'll be hauling in a honda element or civic. I'm thinking any big bag will be pretty cumbersome for the civic back seat.

I have a racers edge 1/8 pit bag, but bought a trinity T10 for the big trips, however the T10 didn't make it out of baggage claim before the straps ripped loose. I understand the team Magic bag is the way to go.

I have a T8 bag and wish I would have waited to find a Team Magic bag. (I saw one for sale at Fantasy World right after ). The drawers dont slide very well at all, but I haven't had any problem with anything else. But the bins/drawers not sliding in and out easily is a huge pain in the ass.

I also have a small car too, and I just put the bag in on its back and have no problems w/ tools sliding around or anything.

Heres what not to buy ...team losi bag...5 small box's that wont even hold plastic tool trays. cars wont fit in and generally are not well thought out....I miss my old team trinity bag it was perfect size but no cars fit in it ...it did hold all my junk and more though and was durable....

I can fit the 1/8 magic bag in the back seat of my 94 mustang and the bag holds everything I got.

so having just had to travel with my stuff. I highly recommend just getting a large samsonite type hard case for events where you have to fly. If you're just going to be running around locally.... (i.e. not involving the airlines) just get a racers edge bag or team magic bag. the 1/8 scale version is the more versatile bag.

Ive had the T10 and switched to the t8 and I have to say they both didn't hold up very long before the zipper on one broke and the straps on the other started to rip. I bought the Team Magic F10 and its the best one of the bunch imo. As far as the size ive found the bigger bag just means you end up carrying more crap around that you really don't need. Having a smaller bag make you only carry what you need and that's all.
