Thanks to this post the hit counter went through the roof yesterday. It looks like the racers of the NW want a change also. Let me know if you have any questions about whats happening at the RCN.

Hi Randy, I hope your trip to the Yard was enjoyable. It was cool to meet you. This is the first place I've seen you post on the net.

Hey Homer,
It was nice meeting you and Lisa. You guys have a great place and I enjoyed myself. Hopefully we'll meet up again sometime.

Cherry,
I'm Glad you joined this group. Maybe this time you'll actually offer to help out.

well i went to the site, searched around and around and didn't find any rules, well at least not any "REAL" rules. so i will ask here and hope homer comes back.

using myself for an example, last year i ran the tcs race at burien , i tq'd and won that race in the F-1 class. but when i went to tcs nats I got my azz handed to me by the so cal guys. SSoooo if i race a RCN series in washington and there are 25 guys per race and i win all the races, and the guys in so cal race a RCN series but only 15 guys show up for every race. and the same guys wins all those races, I will assume i will be ranked higher then the so cal guys because i had more guys to race against and there for be considered a west coast champ even though i wouldn't stand a chance in a head to head race with them. is this right or did i miss something.

now with all that said, until i have a Rcn track to run at no use in joining right now. oh btw. this year its free to join, how much will it be next year. Track price and Driver price

Ritchie if you win more races with the more entries that means you will score more points, therefore you would be the champion. In the future this ranking system will be used to bring racers together for some head to head action. It will take us the first year to get people ranked, before we have to worry about the next level.

As far as future fees, tracks will never be charged. I realize without tracks we do not have racers. I also know the struggles of a track owner and feel they deserve to keep all the money they make to keep them in business. We have thought about the racers fees for next season, but haven't nailed down a cost. When we ask people to pay I want to make sure they are getting their monies worth. I'm working on some deals for next season to actually get you something for your membership to make it worth while.

As far as the rules we have posted, it's all about fun. I have no plans to be a dictator of every acspect of racing. We need to stop worrying about every little thing concerning the cars and worry about bringing the fun to these events. You have to admit those rules will provide some fun. Seriouly though rules will be handled by each individual track. I will only offer guidelines.

Ritchie knows a good thing when he see`s it.....( Thanks dude)

We need more racer`s discussing this with Brownie....

I`m sure gona...... OOOOooo ! Noooo !

Forever I have been waiting for a real ranking system for us R/c racers...At last! I see a ray of hope .....

It just seems all to unreal to place all the gory on one win, at one race.....
Specially if you have to race against a whole bunch of factory boys....

I see RCN as being a great way for the regular Joe to have a fair chance to complete in a real national event......

Snicker

Looks like it might be a fun program. Maybe some sponsership will see all the people that are joining and sign on to take RC racing to the big time.
