B&I , wow I had to think about that place, I raced there, Damn I'm old too.
I still have a summer sizzler second place A-main trophy from there out door track.
The good old days, RC-10 gt(ten pounds of gold car), loose sand track, charging up you cells with a car batt. Taking a leak in the bushes by the train tracks out back of the driver stands.

my name is rovic clemente, and i was never fired from fantasy world, nor am i shady. and as far as FW goes i left (back in '92 or was it in '93 or '94, cant remember) but it was on good terms and at the hpi challanged (2yrs ago) dave reminded the anounced during my race that i once worked for him, not something you would do if there were problems between use. further more, i dont believe anyone in wa or any state that i have raced in can say one bad thing about my character or person.

on the topic or rcsource, ill see what is happening. i dont own it or am i affiliated in anyway other than hes my brother.

yes, but let me explain. i used the wrong scale foams aparently the foams that i used were the blue ones for 1/8 scales/kit foams. when i bought them i couldnt find the ones that came in my kit, so grabed the closest lookalike the store had. i didnt know that they were illegal, the discription on the package didnt differentiate between the classes (1/10 & 1/8) or cars.

the foam didnt offer any performance advantages, if anything they hindered performance.

that was a tough pill to swallow, i lost out on a chance to go to europe. i think they should re-ran the race because other cercumstances arose, and some felt that reruning it would allow me to win again, even if i ran with no foams in my tires...

vanguard: I was there for the challenge and also was Rovic's pit guy. The DQ was rediculous. He was DQ'd for his tire inserts. Rovic was using HPI inserts in his car. The only problem was he grabbed super nitro inserts and stuffed them in the tire. There was nothing in the rules that said he could not use super nitro inserts. The rule stated he had to use HPI inserts and he did. So a new rule was made at the track and he was DQ'd. It doesn't matter anyhow cause Rovic drove the crap out of that car.
