Anyone have one I could buy that will be at the hanger Sunday?
Hopefully someday you will find it.

The part number to use for searching is 9808019, from the "A" parts list at the end of the manual. Ampdraw seems to have them in stock:
http://www.ampdraw.com/product/4389/...-Crescent-Ring

But for Sunday, you can just borrow one off of my TA05 parts car.

Im sure there will be race days at the hangar that I am the only one that shows up to run mod. In that case I will just throw a 13.5 motor in and crank my XXS speedo to 10 on the punch and go with it.

I cant wait to run the little cars again! My mouth waters at the thought of Paragon!

See you guys soon!
Or you could just get a Tekin and download updates for free.

Regarding Sunday races. What time do you guys start setting up? Trying to figure out a time to show up so I can help with track set-up.

If you're talking about the little tiny one, I have an extra. Others, as well, if that's not it.

Mike,

I can't say for ALL sunday races but it sounds like this Sunday's race at least 5 guys are showing up at around 5:00 am. Todd and others can use some help but I think they understand that not everyone can show at that time. I think the plan is to have the track be ready by 7:00am. Then qualifiers starting about 9:00 am. I will be there it looks like and probably by about 10:00 or so I will finally be awake.

I am not always a morning person. I am planning on being there a little bit before 7:00 or slightly after at the latest. I think I have the info correct.

advanced shmadvanced.

I'm building a time machine and getting the unlabeled and shrinkwrapped mystery esc from IIc 2015.

Then I'll get sponsored, make some real cash, and get me a custom Scion.

Don't hate the playa, hate the time machine. Peace.

Alright guys, I'm loading up the tub at RC Hobbies to take to the track on Sunday. If you have any special requests either PM me on here or call the shop. I have a HUGE tub of stuff setup right now with all the essentials (minus Paragon since it's on back order). Today is your last chance to get special requests in since I won't be at work Friday or Saturday.

And just FYI, it will be cash only please.

Default They Call it Progress

A good post on the CRC website regarding the "cheater speedo" from the IIC. As I think about it, the point is sound. Someone makes an application specific product with smarts and good materials and guess what...it beats the competition! Since I'm taking delivery of a new RS this afternoon, I can only hope that TekinSchmekin gets back to work on their software. One can imagine they were expecting other than the ass-whooping they took at Vegas (sigh.) Oh well. Buy American, I guess Maybe we can lobby for some protectionism against predatory Viking socialist electrical engineers.

Any info yet on whether the "Black Diamond" speedo will support updateable firmware like TekinSchmekin does? That's one killer feature I wish all speedos had.

Sean, it will be good to squeeze the trigger on a mod 12th again. Weekends are the only time that they will be able to run at H30, though. Wed Night is set up for deep fields of 13.5 12th, in the past a nearly full B Main. I expect that initially mod 12th will be light, but you never know. It may open up strong and stay that way. The H30 Round Table is likely unanimously approving the 17.5 & mod format for weekend play.

And yes, Paragon is King.

One thing to consider since we started talking about speedos, other than Mike Dumas who is very fast driver for Tekin, they have a small team of mostly privateers racing their speedos at the moment. They have what appears to be the speedo of choice for racers who need something now. The Advanced Electronics speedo did great and may prove to be better in many ways (and I would like to play with one too) but make no mistake the CRC team which is small also are 1/12th studs. Those guys have been winning major carpet races for years now. They may have won those classes without their soon to be imported speedo.

And hopefully this weekend one of you warriors can figure out what motor would be best served for mod. I have a 3.5 and that may be overkill

As of now its the only BL I own.
