I know we're not allowing D3.5 in 17.5 on our tracks, but D3.5 in other windings are still ROAR-legal and we're fine with them, correct?

Default Trinity D3.5

You are correct that the Trinity D3.5 17.5 and all tuner-branded variants are banned from Stock classes at Seattle RC Racers events.

The D3.5 13.5 is legal for World GT. The D3.5 21.5 is legal for Formula One. Both are ROAR-approved at this time.

Scale Spec is Novak only (or Tamiya 540-J, the "silver can.")

Default Help

Getting the girls cars ready for the this weekend and I need a little help.
FDR for 25.5 Ballistic for Scale Spec TC6.1 64 pitch(I think it's 3.10 FDR?)
Gearing and tire diameter for stock 1/12 LRP SS with a D3.( I think it's 88/51?)
Not to sure. Any help is appreciated.

3.1 should get you close. I'd bump it up closer to 3.2 or 3.3 yo keep the motor cool for time being. Once they get their lines tighter, then you can bump it up.

I've been running 3.4 FDR @ 40* timing. Temps are warm but good. I wouldn't go more agressive than that without testing first.

Different speeders affect temps as well, also driving style.

Very valid point. I've been running at 3.56 FDR at 40 degrees timing and coming off the track around 130 degrees. This is with a motor heatsink and attached fan. I'm going to try to squeeze a little more speed out of it and see if I can maintain the temperatures. Also, I believe Mike is running the new Novak BOSS, which has vent holes. I'm guessing that makes at least a small difference.

Correct.

Perhaps. I ran my old motor at 3.4 @ 45* I think, with the taller X-Patterns. It got pretty hot, but not unsafe, I don't think.
