Hello folks,

Getting ready for indoor season. I am prepping up my tc6.1 for stock touring.
What gearing should i start with... preferrably 64p since most of my pinions are 64p

also what additional size pinion should i have ready for fine tunning as well.

thank you

96 spur with 48-51 pinion is what I ran in my 6.1 with a D3 motor and SXX Stock Spec.

Is there a race next weekend? I just got everything I needed and my car built, I want to go out and set my car up. Would anyone have the time to meet up with me at the track and help me out?

Go to: seattlercracers.com, click the "onroad racing" tab, that will drop down the race schedule. We are a month out still. What kind of help are you looking for. Guys are super helpful while we've got idle time. Once racing starts, it gets a little intense, but questions still get answered.

Sean,

The FastTraxNW thread is here:
http://www.rctech.net/forum/northwes...northwest.html

We're racing next weekend. Schedule is here: http://www.fasttraxnw.com/8.html

If you come up to FastTraxNW next weekend, it should be a nice, relaxed race day, with plenty of practice time. I'd be happy to help you get your car sorted out.

I am mostly looking for help with car setup, the fasttrax track is about 1.5 hours (on-way) for me, I really don't want to spend 3 hours driving. I was wondering if anyone wanted to meet up at Tacoma mall or a smooth parking lot near by and help me out. Is there a facility that has normal open practice hours for onroad cars in the area?

Head over to the fantasy world track. They're holding their annual summer sizzler this weekend. Not sure about track time but there should be plenty of people to help out with setup.

Bremerton is your only option... they have test and tune Tuesdays but you can access anytime during business hours via the off road track.... welcome to on road in the pacific northwest.

On another note....

Are those HPI X-patterns directional? If so, which way do you mount them?

I have run them both ways (to even out tire wear). It probably doesn't matter in the dry. I would mount 2 one way, and 2 the other way, and then not worry about it.

Man, I am so stoked for carpet season to fire up. Scale Spec is going to be huge this year. And mod TC, with me and Sam stepping up.

Hrm, I still need to send a donation for Wednesday carpet. Payday is Thursday.
