I still think the club should consider a endurance race... 6hrs to 10hrs VTA... 10 or 12 cars.. spec timing and rollout to keep the cars nice and slow. 4 man teams.. i know its cost prohibitive... but would still be great.

NORA did one last year, and it was popular. I'm sure there will be something similar again this year.

EDIT: I guess it was February, but that was still last season.

Add Patrick Plueard to the list.... Stuart put another notch on his belt Saturday... the kid was money on the track and a true gentleman off.

I haven't really explored this thread but are the rules covered for VTA (national rules comparison)? Just picked up a new TC4 Club Racer for my daughter and looking to set her up.

Thanks

Ed's quoting http://seattlercracers.com/specsrules/

Biggest differences between USVTA our Scale Spec:
Min weight: 1550 -> 1450
Bodies: VTA -> VTA or GT style
Tires: VTA or D Compound X-Pattern
Driver Figure: Who cares -> We don't

Scale Spec runs 21.5 in the summer on asphalt, and 25.5 in the winter on carpet.

August 3rd. Want to run my MI4 CXL in stock? It needs esc, servo, receiver, battery, and tires if you want to not suck. I have motor and body. Scale spec is also an option with a clapped out Tekin 21.5, but I don't have extra tires for that.

Default H30 Update

I've been staying up on the progress of the hangar remodel and it is looking pretty good. The whole building is being redone, and when it comes out the other end it will be a great asset for the city. I think we are very fortunate to have access to a resource that will be in high demand in the coming years.

Here is a picture of the inside of the hangar as of yesterday afternoon.

Here is a detail of one of the gas furnaces. There are four of these bad boys hung from the rafters, and the word from the project manager is that the hangar will be kept a reasonably comfy 65 deg. or so through the winter.
