Default Good Job Guys

I want to thank the committee for their work on the rules for the 2009/2010 season. Brian Bodine, Mark Brown, Mike DuTemple, and Jeff Kuney, along with the chairman Kody Knudtson are the members. As you all have busy, work-filled lives, the time you took to do this is appreciated by the whole club. This gives us the structure and direction that will contribute to a successful race season.

Thank you!

Todd M.

Hey guys,

Just got of the phone with Hobby Town USA in Redmond. There shipment showed today with HPI bodies, tires and wheels. As well as Jaco blues.

RC Hobbies has bodies, wheels and will be getting tires (X-Pattern in the D compound) and Jaco blues next week.

Both have race bodies in stock for 1/12th and 17.5 sedan as well...

Call and see what they got and go support your local shop!

Default Everett Grand Touring Car Series

Quick question for those of you participating on the Saturday races up in Everett: do you need to be a ROAR member to race? I'm thinking of going up and racing tomorrow if the wife's plans aren't cancelled (since both she and the son would be away for the day).

No ROAR membership required at the EGTC. Come up and race!

However, you do need a personal transponder. I'll bring an extra if you need it.

Thanks Todd! I have a personal transponder, so I should be set. Here's to hoping the wife's plans aren't cancelled :P.

Kudo's to the Brain trust, This is without a doubt, the most well thought out program I've read.

Nice job on the rules for Wednesday night racing...any idea when we'll see the rules for the additional classes run during the weekend races.

Thanks,

Bob

Mod Rubber will have the Jaco Blues spec'd as well. No motor limit
WGT should be ROAR rules. This could change if the NWIC changes for this class. We still have to finalize this one.

Also I believe it will be 4 or more makes a class.

Thanks, Mike. This will help us plan for those races.

What's a good transponder, and where can I get one? I don't know jack about them, and I don't want to get something incompatible with the club's system.
