The season points reflect drivers' overall results for the season as a whole.

For each race, TQ gets 1 point, the winner gets 100 points, 2nd place 98 points, 3rd place 97 points and so forth. The points each driver earns at each race are added up over the course of the season.

Since a driver may not be able to make every single race or a driver may occasionally have a bad result, each driver can is afforded four "drops." Drops haven't come into play yet but will begin to affect the overall results when we get to the fourth race from the end of the season.

The club members with the most overall points in Novice, Scale Spec, Stock Touring, Mod Touring, Stock 1/12th and Mod 1/12th will receive an award at the end of the season.

Anyway, overall points so far are what is indicated in the above tally.

Nice, a new mod driver

I run a 5.0 myself, Erik. My best advice on rollout is a 28/96 pinion/spur combo. Run it on blinky. And otherwise, forget about it. I haven't found myself chasing rollout with mod. And I certainly haven't been able to do anything consistently good with more power than that setup provides.

Hey Jason,

Yes we sure do! The weekend of April 6th. It could be a long single day but its still being finalized and could change.

Just an FYI Mark @ TZ2 will be hosting ROAR regionals early March as well.

Hope all is well,

Kody

Jesse, I would expect traditional Roar classes of "slow n fast" in TC and 12th plus toss in WGT 13.5 blink. If there is interest in other classes such as VTA or F-1, you will have to check with the boss. I believe they have to be written in as "additionals" on the sign up. Want to say the date I heard was March 9-10, but that is subject to announcement. Anything your read here is on the internet, do not believe it all!

Nice, looks like the TZ2 ROAR regionals will be similar to the TZ grand prix. Same basic classes and same spec tire. Love those team power tires.

Yes! Another f1!!

Did you get the fast gear set? The stock spur gear is too big to get the correct ratio. Use the smallest spur that comes in the "fast gear set" which is 35t I think. And for the pinion I am using 33t but you might want to start at 30t and see how your motor does.

You mean with a 21.5t brushless motor? 3.0:1 works well in my F104 w/ a 21.5t. I'll bet more or less the same FDR would also work in the FGX.

Oh and for anyone looking to get into the F1 class, I need to sell my F104X1 chassis. I promised my wife I would sell it before I got a V2 chassis but ... Well, so now I need to sell it. http://www.rctech.net/forum/northwes...l#post11722662

Thought I would post this in here first before I post in other areas. I am selling the Spec R1 that I have with all the spares that were purchased for it. The car is still in great shape and the blue body will come with it. I also have a Gens Ace 2s lipo that I include for free to somebody if they buy it soon and locally. I will ship if I need to though.
