Seattle RC Racers/Hangar 30

Two questions, though:
1) How did you get the camera up there?
2) Did you happen to get the Stock TC main?
I'd love to get a video from that viewpoint for every round.

Can somebody expalin how the series points are awarded. Is it a common method or something different? Is there a TQ point?

it will be for a 25.5 novak im probably gonna start at around 3.6ish

What a great night of racing. got to see some fun battles but I think the two that stand out in my mind were the pass Jesse made for second place on Mike and the batle between Kyle and Stewart. That was great Kyle, you should of seen the look on Stewart's face. I don't think he quit smiling the entire time.
Thanks Kody for the great track design. Nice to see such a fast layout. I see I have some work to do on the 12th scale. Hopefully I will step out next time and actually be competitive.

See you guys at the ECC in April, hopefully I will have lost my baby weight by then...

I tell you... last time I raced with Stuart I would just tuck in behind and wait for him to pull wide but ahhhh, I think something clicked with that kid..... he never went wide!! I actually had to pass him... those laps we danced together were right up there with some my most memorable moments in this hobby... he needs to go back to TC!!!

He did mention something about outdoor mod TC. Panda should be on notice.

I really like the new lay out. Lots of turns to get right (or wrong), great places to pass or be passed, great flow, great lead in for starts. Bravo Kody, Bravo. Jeff: we need more cowbell.... I mean wiggle!

For the CRC curious, I ran an altered ego chassis in stock with yel/mag, tri d3.5 17.5 timed @ 20* rolled at 59/72. I really liked the way the car worked, but in the main my KO blinked while switching model memory over, leaving my throttle epa at 124%, down from 150%. While it made for a good club main, I wouldn't want that to happen at a big race. I've spoke to Robert at KO about this. For those with a Helios, Eurus, or even that new thing they have out, he said be sure to wait 2 seconds after selecting your new model before switching the unit off or altering anything else. Treat it as a computer booting up.
Pre-congrats on the baby Kyle!
Happy New Year everyone!!!!
Brian

+1. Thanks!
Two questions, though:
1) How did you get the camera up there?
I used to buiild miniature sky scrapers in my spare time. Heights don't scare me.
2) Did you happen to get the Stock TC main?
See above !
I'd love to get a video from that viewpoint for every round.
It definitely points out some places where I'm losing time, and what mistakes I'm making that are more costly than others.

Stock 1/2 B main, stock 1/12 B main!!!

It's 1 point for TQ, 100 for the win, 98 for 2nd, 97, 96,95 etc. We wanted a 2 point spread between win & 2nd putting slightly more emphasis on "winning". We wanted to break up the TQ + 2nd being = win. I do not recall the throw outs, though. Bill may have to chime in on that stat.

If I could alter one spot, it would be the entrance turn to the front chicane, it's on the tape seam. Foam cars plant the front left pretty hard on that tape and pitch. As the track grooves up, it will probably be less of an issue..... but I am really nit picking. The layout is awesome!
