Hopefully I will have my scale spec as well. And my girlfriend may make it out for novice.

I have a CRC Gen Xi that I haven't built yet. I plan on running that in stock. This is my first 12th car. What are some good tires to start with?
Yellow rears and Black fronts... Maybell has plenty in the tub at internet prices....

I so hope we can revive this class. I am using an 88t spur with a roll out of 85. Tire dia at 52 and motor comes off right around 150.

Default Timezone Gran Prix

I would like to alert the club an opportunity to experience a big race at a great facility close to home. The Timezone Gran Prix is coming up November 9, 10, 11. That's Friday to Sunday.

Not only is it a chance to see some big-name racers do their thing, but it is one of the biggest gatherings of the racing tribe in the region. Expect to see racers from every corner of Washington, but also Oregon, Idaho, British Columbia, and elsewhere. The competition is intense, and everyone steps up their game to earn a top spot in the standings. If, like me, you find the weeklong extravaganzas of IIC or Snowbirds simply impossible because of family and work, the TZGP is your chance to get in a genuine big race on a reasonable schedule and at reasonable expense.

Also, this year a Spec Touring class is offered using the Novak 25.5t motor, realistic bodies, and touring tires. It is very close to our Scale Spec class, so if you've wanted to go to a big race but have felt like you are not ready to mix it up with the pros, this is a great chance to participate and get over that first-big-race hurdle. I expect it to be a hotly contested class, and the prize for the winner is the same as for any other class, so don't expect it to be a throwaway thing. It's accessible and legit big race action.

Here is the thread: http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric...11-2012-a.html

See you there.

Also have a Trinity Pulse 13.5 I'll give ya........

And, and, and a Orca Vritra 160A TC spec ESC w/program box I doubt I'll ever use, make offer (I think this was one of the first batch out of RC Hobbies, purchased 10/18/09)

Send me a PM if interested, (Not looking to start a "Food Fight")

Todd, I plan on Brenden running the scale spec at the TZGP, just in case you plan on bringing Stewart

Thanks for the heads-up, Ryan. I'd say it's 2 to 1 that Stuart will be coming with me. Scale Spec looks like a good choice at this race.

Clete, you can come up any time you like. Just give me a week or so to work out the parking for you if you're rolling up in the tour bus. We're not at the hangar this season, and right now I don't have a multi-day on the schedule. I'm working on it, but it's definitely a maybe, not a definite maybe.
