Agreed... LRP Flows, Revtech 100c and Duo 3.5s....

And who doesnt have a 17.5 ready to go?

I am wanting it to go to 17.5.... so there, I've settled...

My suggestion for the 1/12th stock class is 13.5, here's why:

1) People who ran 1/12th last year and don't want to run modified won't have to buy anything. They can run all their current gear and won't have to by new 17.5 motors.

2) People that want to try modified really won't need to buy anything (at first) either. a boosted 13.5 1/12th car on a small track will be close in speed to a full open mod car.

The only real upset to the program I can see is that guys who want to run modified to its fullest extent will have to buy stuff, like mod tires and low turn motors. I think those that want a mod class accept this OPTIONAL extra cost, and it's better than a situation like changing stock to 17.5 and FORCING people to have to buy something.

One more thing I would like to point out. Tire compounds useable in modified have much better wear characteristics than the ones the are fast in stock. I don't see mod drivers using anymore sets than they were already going through in stock last season. Admittedly we were using compounds that wore quickly on purpose as a way of fighting dirty tires caused by the Hangar floor.

Maybe with no drivers stand to build this year we can get a fleet of vacuums on the track on race days? Then again we may not even need to.
Okay it make sense as far saving money...
Mostly racers already have the 17.5 ,which they can yank the motor out in their TC ,if they wish to run the 12th scale stock ..I dont see any thing about buying new motor for stock 12th scale.... Mostly of the mod guy can run eather mod or stock with n/p
the only problem I see is that the others big races beside hangar30 alway 17.5 or mod 12th ...

You must not know me, then. :P My newest motor is the 13.5 that's currently in my 1/12, that I bought last summer. I have no intention of replacing it until I can click off lap after lap within 3/10. My 17.5 motor in my TC is from the season before this last one, and I don't think it's what's keeping me 2 laps off pace.

No its hacking somebody on a pass than having to wait.

Not that I want to award a giant douche bad or anything but my vote is this.

17.5 stock 12th
Mod 12th
13.5 blinky WGT

That would offer the best mix I think. Plus make it pan car newb friendly. However the people that are saying mod or no show had better plan on racing the whole season and not quiting after snobirds.
