Thanks for a great season everybody, had alot of fun. Having coming off a decade away from the carpet, i had a lot to learn. Highlights for me were making a Stock Touring A main earlier in the year, racing up through the B, and ECC was a blast. Ive been struggling lately, i have seemed to be going backwards since ECC with my touring car but Panda gave me some help this last race and showed me some things i was doing wrong setup and driving wise, Much appreciated. Scale Spec I kept playing with the setup all year and kept improving, finally ending up in the top half of the A main towards the end of the year.

I want to thank Sean Maybell for advice and encouragement all year, Jeff Kuney and Chris Perry for the driving coaching, Cody Armstrong for being somebody I could trash talk lol, Ben Fessel for being a cool respectful kid, Kody Knudsen for the private chassis seminar, and Todd Mason for running a kick ass program. Thank you everybody that helps setup and break down.

Plans for the summer are to run some TC and Scale spec at Fasttrax, and the NW asphalt challenge. I hope to run some 1/12 next carpet season along with stock TC.

Guys, update from Billings, Dave Ehrlick 4 time regional champ today. Although mod 12 was exhibition class. He had an outstanding day. I had qual'ed a pair of 2's in stock 12 and Wgt and a decent 4th in boost 13.5 12th. I finished 2nd to Dave in stock but not after super tight race with Mitch Witteman. Dumper won stock tc after tq'ing it. Vta was a crack up of circus activity. F-1 looked sharp. 104 entries. Well attended event from NY to Denver to Seattle. No farm animals were injured in this posting, but the rubber fist and German techno were prominent features! Fun race filled with tears of laughter.

Good turnout. Nice to see that. Thanks for representing the Hangar, did anyone else from here go?

Default Futaba vs. Airtronics

Hi guys,

So, my Radiopost transmitter was glitching very badly this past weekend at Galaxy Hobbies in Lynnwood (though I still TQ'ed and Won! Woot! )...

I was told that the digital servo was the cause of the glitching, so I ordered a Novak "Glitch Buster" (basically a powercap that plugs into the receiver). If this doesn't work, I may have to get a new radio system. Eek!

I've been looking at a more "budget" (note the quotes) system, such as the Futaba 4PL or Airtronics MT-4 systems.

Are there any opinions out there on the Futaba system vs the Airtronics? Also, has anyone else faced bad glitching with the Radiopost?

Thanks for the help! I posted on this thread because I trust your opinions!

Peace,
Sam

Which radio did you get to replace it? The new KO? Or waiting on the new Airtronics?

The exact reason I don't run Radiopost anymore... This problem is common now.

The new KO radio is awesome in case anyone was wondering.
