Given the number of Japanese companies supporting RC, I think a Haiku might be more appropriate. Iíll go first:

Setup can be hard
Tamiya makes a nice car
Jake is Freakiní Fast

I also thought about a limerick, but kept trying to rhyme things with Nantucket...

Damn right I'll be running the scale body! It looks too cool not to lol.
I may or may not have it painted for the ECC, but I bought a Protoform to mess around with untill I get my feet wet with all this 12th scale business.

Default Points

Speaking of points.
-Does the ECC count to the Saturday weekend points series?
-Is there a trophy awarded to the top three in points or just the winner?

Default Officer Elections

It is getting on time to elect club officers. The slots open this year are President, and both Representatives. Currently: Todd Mason, Alex Danilchik, and Bill Swadener respectively.

To be eligible to vote in the election, you must be a club member. It's easy to join, we have forms at the track, and it costs $10 for the year. Along with voting rights, you get points series participation, and eligibility to serve as a club officer. The $10 due goes into our coffers to support the club's programs. Our membership roster at this time is solid, but we are always looking to recruit new energy and enthusiasm.

Club Secretary Wes Briscoe will conduct the election in April. The details for it are in his hands, and I am sure he will have it all lined up as it draws nearer. In the meantime, if you are interested in taking a turn in the club's leadership, please give it some thought, and toe up for consideration. Irrespective of an election's final outcome, the greatest honor is to those willing to put themselves out there.

Thank you.

Lem,

Good questions.

--- Yes, the ECC counts towards the Saturday points series.

--- Regarding trophies: Club Members are eligible for points series awards. In each class, the three Club Members who have the most points will receive an award. There will be separate awards for the Wednesday Series and the Saturday Series. For those who arenít a Club Member, Todd outlines how to become one above. Any of us on the Comp Committee can help with the membership form.
