Thank you Alex and Brian for the great day, as well as everyone else at Hanger30.

I would like to thank everyone with the extra help I have needed lately getting my pit setup. It is appreciated. I will start helping with the track duties when I get better.

My car felt better than I did! I started with
1.755 rear yellow
1.705 front black
43/76 gears -
1 deg camber

went to 44/76 gears, in R3 and that was it. No other adjustments!
ran the tires all the way through start to finish. (with cleaning/long soak)
Finished race size after 4 rounds:
1.690 rear
1.665 front
with over 4mm ride height all the way around.

One other thing, the new paint made the car look and feel, soft and supple in the front! I wanted to handle it, er it handled great.

Tracy

Default Saturday

I had fun Saturday. I normally stay to help with tear down but I was running late for a b-day party that started at 3pm. Sorry guys, will help next time.

My 1/12 is slowly getting some speed also. Swapped out the old and puffed TP 40c batts to a brand spank me new 65c and threw away the SP 1 cell motor for a the stouter D3. I finally cracked the 36 lap barrier and was knocking on door 37 by the mains. If I can keep the fading to a minimum maybe I could be a factor. Thats a big MAYBE by the way. Thanks Tracy for the gearing pointer after the Main. I'll have to try that next time.

Mr Bodine... Wgt, Ballistic, 12.5 or 12.3 rotor?

The stock rotor at 12.3 should be perfect in the Ballistic. Novak is a good torquey motor for Wgt.

Looks like I missed out on a week of great racing!

Thank you Alex for taking the lead on the race day organization and direction, and also Brian for backing him up. Clearly, the Seattle RC Racers have depth in their lineup. If y'all felt good about the club before, you should feel even better now.

From February of 2009 to last week, I hadn't missed a single race, meeting, practice, or build day. That's 50+ races and whatever the rest of it comes to. In other words, the club was overdue for a break!

Looking forward to the 22nd. My little run of glory put the hook in. Winning is fun! I'll see what I can bring for you Brian, Sean and Tracy

Clearly, a lot of product is coming out. I can't keep up. I do not know anything about that particular rotor, but the sales pitch sounds good. I have found Novak motors to be more tolerant of heat. At 1S, a finish temp of 155 should be normal. Do that to a Tri based motor and you will feel fade. Alex informed that Tekin had new software just last Friday I didn't know was coming out. I am just going to have to go old skool like Jenkins. Gonna rock the GenX with Duo1 from here on out.

Todd, we did miss you. You do a lot of work around that building that many don't see. Lots of behind the scenes organizing. I hope that you didn't go through harsh withdraws while your were away. Secretly sneaking off to go check rctech at the beach and late at night.... stuff like that. Now it's back to business. We have a ECC to fluff up.

Great racing on Saturday! Great way to kill some time before the wedding lol. On another note, I stopped by Speedtech today while in socal.... Bought a 12th scale..... It's TCS legal... Can you say 12th scale spec? Lol.

Default Road Trip!

I am attending the RCPlus Carpet Showdown this Saturday. If anyone would like to come with me, I have room in the car. Gas is on me. Leaving Seattle Friday night after work at 6pm +/-. Staying at one of the hotels near the track: Howard Johnson or Best Western. Coming home Saturday night.

Let me know.

RC Plus has a solid group of guys who are itching for some action. 1/12th, World GT, and Stock TC will be well represented. It should be a great day of racing
