Hmm, Let me see if I can get those days off for that race.... I have some vacation time saved up.

If I do though if we are going to go 17.5 12th. I'm running mod 1/12th!

Wait? No mod listed? Whats up with that? Too many classes last year?

I dont wanna run (or buy or use a second hand) 17.5! You can't make me! WAAAAAAHHHHH

Great night of racing, this was the most fun I have had all season, thanks Matt for the battle. We'll do it again in a few weeks.

Yes, the ECC is running all club spec rules. We adopted basically Timezone's F1 rules but allow silvercan to run.

I ran my F1 today and it's just fun to drive, pushes, but it's fun.

Fun night of racing, great to be back at the Hangar. Made the A Main in my first stock touring race so that was cool, looking forward to Feb.

Default Sunday

For those going down to TZ II Sunday, I am interested in going so was wondering if anyone had room for one more in their vehicle? I live in Renton and can rendezvous as far as Tacoma for a ride. LMK.

Another fine night of racing at Hangar 30. Our usual full fields of Scale Spec, Stock Touring and Stock 1/12th with a few Novices and World GT's thrown in for good measure added up to 45 entries and a ton of close action on the track.

I continue to believe this is the best track we have yet built for Hangar 30, and I see racers adapting to the new layout and the corners. I can absolutely guarantee you, from my perspective as RD, that we are seeing fewer on track incidents. There will always be banging between cars, as we are still shooting for the same apexes, and no dot magic can make two cars fit in the space of one. But, being able to roll through a blown line and not stack up the field behind is proving to be a great formula for club racing success.

Stock Touring is great racing. And I want to compliment the B Main field particularly for the excellent driving in the main, and everyone for the exemplary management of traffic during qualifying. It was as good as I've seen anywhere. Faster cars were patient with the passes, slower cars were aware of those on good runs behind and around them, and everyone had a chance to find their true level for the night. Cody and Matt crossed swords in the B and gave us a fierce battle for the second bump spot. Cody has been wanting this, and last night he got it! Well done, my friend, and a good race from both of you.

Scale Spec was drama all night. Look at young Ben go! He qualified into the two spot sporting a fresh Corvette ride that looked sharp. Ben is turning his own wrenches and getting it done on Hangar time. Wait a few years, could he be our homegrown world champion? All the same, he has to learn how to handle the pressure as he blew himself out in the main. Bill was Gone-dy from the TQ spot and cruised to a win. But, behind, good friends/rivals Mark Spain and Rob Swan found each other again and gave us a thrilling 2-3 finish. That's club racing, with an emphasis on both words.

Matt and Raegan had fun in Novice and treated us to a Spy vs. Spy main that turned out to be a holler for all watching.

World GT was Bodine's chance to shake the rust off and lay down a new track record.

Stock 1/12th...surely this market is due for a correction? The bubble can't continue, trees don't grow to the sky, what goes up must come down, right? Anyway, a TQ, track record, and win for the dork in the blue cardigan. The imprint of my transmitter grip was still on my palm this morning. Thanks Weylin for the pressure in the main. That was fun.

It sounds like we have a crew headed down to TZ2 this weekend. Drive safe, have fun, and bring the heat!
