I'll buy it if I'll be instantly faster than Brian, Todd, Dutemple, Kody, Steve...and pretty much everyone else.

Default June 17 Cancelled/Season Over

Well, it is a disappointment to see Daytona finish under a yellow flag, and I'm afraid something like it is happening to us. I received a call from the Parks Department this afternoon that the floor refinishing which was originally scheduled for this week is happening all next week. So, our June 17 finale is cancelled, and I'm calling the season over.

There is so much good racing at Fantasy World, Four Seasons, and the EGTC. We can retire from the scene for the summer and enjoy the outdoors.

I want to thank everyone for the enthusiasm and effort to get this club started and our track built. It was a great start to what I hope are many more years of racing. We'll be back in September with a full 22 date schedule for 2009/2010.

Default under the yellow

Well, if I had to trade a race for a new floor, i'd do it, but your analogy of the finale under a yellow is appropriate. Wow, this stings, I was really looking forward to the finale, however maniacally oxymoronic that may seem.
At least it is only temporary. So for now, see you all outside hiding behind sunglasses !

Todd,

Is there anything we can do to still have the last meet. Honestly, I dont understand the break, but then Im not an outdoorsy guy for summer (the sun... IT BURNS!). That and some of us cant do FW or ESLROC.

I mean, cant we just go a week ahead? If you cant make it, can we the club still set it up (whose your second in command?) I assume its setup so that if your sick or something that normally, someone still is able to get the program going.

It really is a looooooooonnnng time until you startup again.

If nothing else, we will be getting that money back for that reservation to put back into the club?

Ok, part of this is I just bought a new chassis and spent part of today transferring things over.. to just read this now...
