You can't buy yourself into doing well in mod ! It takes practice !

Now that you put it in those words....so do I.

Sorry Jake, no mod for me. What little skills I have will only allow me to run stock.

My 12th is ready to roll just need a 13.5 motor to drop in and I'll be ready to roll. I hear great things about the new Revtech motor so I may get one of those but unfortunately no one carries them locally. Anyone have a spare they want to sell? LMK.

Hey Bill, I figured you and Todd would recognize the phrase. I love to go a pan car clinic. Still on the fence about dropping 5-bills for the Xray 12. Xray site has it at $30 more than the t3-11, putting it right at $500 street price.

And until you get good enough that it makes a difference, that would go for all of RC.

P.S. could have sworn I heard a mod driver claim one car was better then another, or this esc was smoother, or that motor was better because....

Just saying.......

Wooden-Ville has some nice swag. Maybe they are out right now?

But yeah the revtech has optimized endbells.

PS you can borrow/buy one of those vastly inferior motors like a D3 or X12 from my "chamber of futile attempts to spend my way onto a podium"

Thanks for the offer Greg. Woodenville is out of them but no big deal. If I don't find anything locally, I'll hit you up.

Cool little video from this last Saturday. I'm in there a few times working on Viking 51 (blue and orange). First day as head race mechanic/engineer . Improved times from 50.xxx sec laps to 41.xxx sec laps by the end of the day. Next test session is in Arlington in two weeks

So, I'm seriously looking into getting a sedan for the summer outdoor and perhaps part of the Hangar indoor series. As of now, it's narrowed down to the Xray T3 2012 or the new Tamiya 417X. Decisions, decisions. Of course, gotta make some money first!

Any thoughts?
